I am delighted to announce that BSCCnet is now connected end-to-end, from our Cable Landing Station (CLS) at Ngeremlengui (CAP-N) to the Tata facility in Guam (CAP-G), at 18 milliseconds round trip latency.
This is what the network management system looked like after the link was completed this morning:
All that blue on the right means that there are zero faults.
High speed internet is now in Palau, if only to CAP-N. Our customers are already installing their connections. Not long now before all the people of Palau will see the results!
The first customer fibre is already in the cable station. Here is hardware for the first customer connection being prepared.
We remain on track for December 7th Ready for Service, but end users in Palau will see big improvements before then.
